When Dr Shearing was being questioned in her house, she gets upset and says she was trying to visit her sister and then everything went to DEFCON 4. DEFCON 4 is next to the lowest lever of defense readiness condition and where the US military normally has been. She should have said DEFCON 2 or 1.
