After moving from the hospital to their house, Russel buys a new phone for Jeniffer in lieu of her lost phone. When she switches it on, it shows "No Service" and when inquired, Russel says, "Welcome to the mountains" indicating there is no cellular reception.
Yet, one day ago Jeniffer hears him answering his cellular from the kitchen and sees his talking to someone (detective) from their garden.
