When Robocop is being picked up by the electromagnet, this wouldn't be possible given he is made of a titanium alloy. In the first Robocop movie, they state this. Titanium is not magnetic. Only having him be magnetic would allow the rest of the scene to occur, where he is picked up and placed on the table to be disassembled.
