When the destroyed convoy is shown, there are a number of errors:
1) the merchant ships would never be that close to each other - typical distance was about 500m.
2) the burning escort ship is shown having a gun turret with four guns - the only matching British ships were battleships, and they would never be that close to a convoy. Typically they were kept some distance away, so they could intercept any approaching cruisers/battleships (i.e., not submarines).
3) it is indicated the convoy was destroyed by U-boats, i.e., torpedoed, in which case that many ships wouldn't still be floating in that way.
