Near the beginning of the film where Buddy gets killed by the train, the crowd gathers around the spot where the boy was hit. The locomotive engine of the train is seen stopped right at the same place. This would be impossible. Even a very slow moving train takes several hundred feet to come to a halt. A train going at more normal speeds can take anywhere from one-half mile to over a mile to come to a stop.
