Hank Palmer travels from Chicago to southern Indiana (his daughter arrives later at the Evansville Regional Airport) on a large commercial jet airliner. Hank would not get a direct flight on a large commercial airliner from O'Hare (Chicago) to Evansville and with a stop somewhere else it would take much longer than simply driving the 6 hours south. Hank would know that driving home would be quicker and simpler.
