When Shelley gets her car stuck in the mud, and first sees the house, the view is from some distance away from the house and the fence. However, in the next shot when she gets out of the car, the house is much closer and the car is right next to the fence. She stumbles through the mud and rain to the house where she's let in. In the light it can be seen that she's hardly wet yet when Richard Todd puts on a raincoat to get her case from the car and returns with water pouring off him.
