In the middle of the film, Hong can sense the Computer Angels a.k.a the two sisters from a distance, so that she can catch them in the elevator on time. Yet, earlier when meeting for the first time in a CD store, when Sue is clearly pacing around and checking out on Hong, Hong seems oblivious to her close presence, until Sue gives her the headphone.
