When the Vahki are sucked in by the vortex, Nokama's blade which she is anchoring herself to the ground with is visibly floating, as Vakama's disk launcher can be seen under the blade. In the same shot, Matau's shadow is visibly unconnected to him, making it looks like he's floating too.
