When Finn and Rey first turn and run towards the Falcon, we see an establishing shot of the ship from far away (CG shot) followed by a close up of the ship's entrance (practical set piece). The entire walkway jiggles as the two actors climb it, revealing it to be a lightweight, freestanding set leading to nowhere.
