Luke's X-wing is very clearly badly damaged in Star Wars - Gli ultimi Jedi, as one of the wing panels is missing, because it's used as the door to Luke's hut. Yet somehow it's perfectly functional in this movie, after being left fully immersed in the sea and unmaintained for ten years.
