Near the end (1:29) where "Character 1" fires the pistol, you see a hollow-point bullet traveling slowly until it enters "Character 2" and exits from the rear. Hollow-point bullets are designed to expand on impact, cause maximum damage and reduce the chance of a "through-and-through", which is why the police use them (to avoid civilian collateral). The bullet should not have been shown to exit, at least not in a whole condition.
