During the barrel scene, the shark pulls three barrels underwater. MythBusters discovered that the shark would have had to exert 1200 pounds of pressure, which it would be incapable of doing. However, this is a thriller/horror movie, and shark's strength is intentionally exaggerated to make it appear invincible.
