In the Navy scene, two officers are talking to each other indoors and one of them is not wearing a cover. After the CO gives his junior officer an order they salute and walk away. Naval personnel do not salute indoors and do not salute without a cover.
In addition, the senior officer salutes first and that is not a practice in any military in any part of the world.
