If it only takes two (relatively minor) scars on the face to avoid being taken by the Evil Queen, why doesn't Snow White and other women do so?
If, more logically, it is the youthful breath she needs (as depicted when the Evil Queen sucks the youth out of Greta) then the sacrifices made by Anna and her tribe are useless.
