In the movie and inspired by Crichton's novel, Dr Grant says not to move as the Tyrannosaurus rex can only see moving objects. A human, standing or sitting still, still moves via skin changes, involuntary jerks and breathing. It can be argued that via the Frog DNA the T-Rex's vision is altered to that of a frog's. Yet it is not scientifically clear that all frogs only see moving objects.
