When Ben Harris goes into one of the rooms, he reaches around the door-frame and flicks the light switch a couple of times, even though he has been told that the electricity is off. He then leaves the switch in the "up" position.
A couple of minutes later electrical power is restored and the main light in the room comes on.
However this is set in England, where the "on" position for light switches is "down", not "up", so the light should not have come on.
