In the opening scene, on the news show, the ticker reads: "Giants lose to Patriots for second time this season". However, the Patriots (AFC East) and the Giants (NFC East) are not in the same division and therefore do not play more than once in a season. The only situation where these two teams would face each other a second time in the same season would be at the Superbowl. But then the ticker would surely mention that it was the Championship game.
