Before he goes to help his father tear down the bridge, Rick (Frankie Avalon) removes his jacket and throws it onto the trunk lid of the car, where it is briefly visible. Rick then goes into the trailer to fetch a rope and a hatchet. Just a few seconds later, from a slightly longer camera shot, we see him exit the trailer, but now the jacket has disappeared.
