When Waring Hudsucker throws himself from the meeting room window he falls 44 floors, 45 counting the mezzanine, would be 520' to 530' with each floor averaging 12', and even if the floors were absurdly tall at 20' would top out at 900' in 30 seconds. While standard free fall with an acceleration of 32 f/s sqrd from a 0 f/s an individual would fall about 14500', which even at the top absurd range would still be over 10000' higher than the fall.
