When in the waterpark, Anthony basically tells Sonny to do what it takes to draft Bo and when he doesn't, Anthony goes ballistic. After Sonny's maneuvering, Anthony is pleased with Sonny's dealings, but he still didn't have Bo and still could have gotten him #6. However, Anthony's order is not specifically to get Bo, it's to "make a splash" (i.e. a big, impressive, attention-getting gesture). Given the ripple of shock and surprise that spreads, Sonny is, in fact, following the directive given to him by drafting a player other than the one everybody has expected him to.
