Damon shows Nic the video he and Jonah took when they entered the hacker's house, and stops on a frame showing an alien hiding in a tree. Yet if one stops the movie at the respective frame earlier when the video is first being taken, there is no alien. This is likely intentional, as Damon's crew probably manipulated the video to fit a narrative they wanted Nic to believe. Yet also, the tree branches are arranged quite differently, showing that someone involved in the movie was a bit sloppy creating the special effect and used a different video frame or edited parts of the tree to accommodate the alien better.
