During several shots from the back of the ramp towards the giant gas pump covering Kong, Wilson can be seen to the right of the ramp. It is an obvious stand-in who is shorter, heavier, and with significantly bushier sideburns than Charles Grodin. Also, the figure can be seen putting a microphone to his mouth and shouting, but no sound can be heard.
