At the beginning, Dre measures his height one last time before leaving home. He is seen with his back to the door threshold, holding a pencil level with the top of his head and drawing a horizontal line at that point. However, when he turns around to write a note for the height measurement, he writes 2-4 inches above his head and his head is clearly craning up.
