When the phone at the house is hung up after they return from the office, the dial with the phone's number is shown: it says "Area code 313" and under that "1K5-0132". There were no area codes in1954, and instead of the first two digits of the number it would have the "exchange" name with the first two letters capitalized. (Example: HUdson 5 0132).
