When Strickland takes the book from Biff and asks him if it's homework, Strickland says "50 years of sports statistics, interesting subject" while flicking through the book. He walks back to his office and eventually throws the book away. When Marty retrieves it from the bin and flicks through it, it's "Ooh La La", the pin-up magazine. Strickland would have known that from looking at it in front of Biff instead of making that comment.It's possible that when seeing the rest of the book that he confiscates it when he realizes what it was, but that does not match the delivery of that line. It was delivered in a tone of "Since when do you study?", not "Nice try, camouflage didn't work".
