The narrator is most likely referring to Field Marshal von Reichenau, who died on January 17, 1942. However, Reichenau suffered a stroke and not a heart attack. He was being transported to seek medical attention when his aircraft crashed on landing. He suffered head injuries during the crash and died. The actual cause of death was not determined.
