In a march across barren countryside, the lead actor appears with and without sword, leather tunic and saddle bag so often it develops into a minor subplot. At one point he lays his sword down at the top of a huge cliff and jumps into the sea below.Upon resuming the quest the next day, the sword is safely by his side once more.
