During the re creation of the Apartment complex explosion, a few key characters are missing from the scene. Dr. Peter Burns, Richard Hart (Jane's boyfriend/business partner), Brooke (Billy's new wife), and Mackenzie Hart (Richard Hart's jilted wife) were all present during the actual TV show explosion, however they are conspicuously absent from the TV movie version.
