The end credits scene shows Daniel Brühl's character introducing Adolf Hitler to the Shepherds. This is supposed to happen right after WW1, when Hitler already had his trademark toothbrush mustache (he cut it in the trenches to fit a gas mask) instead of the long, Prussian-style mustache he has in the scene.
