Upon transferring into a new body, Damian must undergo a period of grueling physical therapy, ostensibly so he can learn to control his completely unfamiliar host. This is a refreshingly realistic touch to the overused mind transfer genre. It might be surprising when other characters enter new bodies, they're up and running instantly with no physical therapy needed; however, this is explained when Damian recognizes Anton (at around 1h 5 mins) saying, "That takes weeks", and Anton replies, "First one's the hardest. After a few sheddings, you're back on your feet in no time."
