In one scene in the film, Gorgo's mother is not shown leaving the River Thames, but having destroyed Tower Bridge, she is next seen destroying buildings and approaching Piccadilly Circus from Shaftsbury Avenue. At this point, she is attacked by planes which blow up gas tanks all around her. How she got from the river side of Piccadilly Circus to the other side is never shown and gas tanks would not have been allowed anywhere around central London.
