When the T-1000 drives the truck over the edge into the canal to continue chasing John, when the truck lands on the canal floor, the windshield is clearly shown to fall out, but is intact later, even after he drives under a low bridge which takes the truck roof off, he has to push the still intact damaged windshield off which is blocking his view.
