When Alan wakes up lying on his bed after he cut open the lipoma, both his shirt and bed sheet are blood-soaked. Yet when he gets up, he can do so without the dried blood sticking together shirt and sheet. In addition, the supposedly dried blood on the sheet is red, while on the shirt it is brownish.
