When Rocco shoots the cat, when they're all standing in the doorway to the living room, Murphy has an unlit cigarette in his left hand. They cut back to the cat on the wall, and when it cuts back to them, when Murphy says, "I can't believe that just fucking happened!", he doesn't have a cigarette any more.
