When Kitty is in the cell while the water is pouring in, the closet can be seen open and human legs that are not decayed can be seen standing up. Rosemary and the corpse of Eveline were in the cell. Rosemary had fallen to the floor and died. The closet door containing Eveline's corpse was left closed and even if it was not, her whole body would have long since decayed like her face, which can be clearly seen having done so.
