(at around 1h 55 mins) When Joshua and his associate Su Yueming flee from Beijing to Hong Kong, their car still carries mainland China 'Blue Plates', along with their pursuers' vehicles as they enter the city. By law, any vehicles entering Hong Kong from mainland China must also carry a pair of Hong Kong license plates with the prefixes 'FU' or 'FV' in the standard white/yellow plate scheme with their original Chinese plates. All the cars from China are carrying plates from Shenzhen, not Beijing, even though they drove to Hong Kong from Beijing.
