Near the beginning of the movie, when the on-screen text declares the location is the Quan Nam district in Saigon, having just showed a Life magazine from 1973 (contributing to making it glaringly obvious the current year is 1973), Randa can be heard listing the tracker's qualifications, including "he rescued 12 downed pilots in Danang in '72". That's supposed to be the previous year, nobody would refer to the previous year as "in '72", he'd say "last year".
