When Madeline Swann exits the safe house and approaches Bond (as well as in the aerial shot immediately after), Trafalgar Square can be seen in the background. To the left of the square, a building flying an American flag is visible. In reality, this building is Canada House, the home of the Canadian High Commission in London; it only flies the Canadian flag.
