There is little continuity with the established ages of the Brody sons. In this film, Mike Brody is married and has a 5 year old daughter. Jaws The Revenge takes place in 1986-87 meaning his daughter would have been born in 1982, which is before Jaws 3 in which Mike wasn't married and was in a relationship with a different woman. Jaws The Revenge is 4 years after Jaws 3 so Mike being married and having a 5 year old daughter with his wife in Jaws The Revenge doesn't make sense. Additionally, Sean Brody was only around 4 or 5 at the most in the original Jaws, and so cannot be older than 18 in this movie - which is too young to have already become a police Deputy.
