In a scene when they are trying to get Peter to fly, the Lost Boys are holding up "happy thoughts", one of the boys are holding up one that says "Berfday" (birthday). Birthdays are an indication of getting older, so a Lost Boy, who doesn't want to grow up, would likely not consider a birthday as a happy thought.
