In Jurassic World (2015), the gyrosphere instruction video states that the glass can stop a .50 caliber bullet. In this movie, when the gyrosphere falls into the ocean, Owen is able to shoot through the gyrosphere glass or at least create holes large enough to let water in with a gun that definitely uses a way lower caliber than .50 caliber bullets.The gyrosphere's glass was already compromised by the lava burning a hole in it and even 10 ft. underwater, the 6 ft. sphere had ten thousand pounds of water pressure on it, making it even more vulnerable to Owen's bullets.
