Cassius is more successful at work when he speaks with a 'white voice'. He is also told to 'stick to the script' which he does. Thus his 'white voice' is the only apparent reason for his success.However, there are numerous 'white people' still languishing on the sales floor who presumably speak with this voice while sticking to the script, but it seems that none of them have ever been promoted.
