There's a flashback of SpongeBob telling Mr. Krabs he should open his own restaurant. 'Hooky' shows that the Krusty Krab has been around since at least 1959. A flashback in 'Truth or Square' shows SpongeBob visiting it as a baby, in around 1986 or 1987.
