When Matilda is pretending to be the ghost of Magnus and magically writing a message to the Trunchbull on the blackboard, when the message is complete, the piece of chalk Matilda is levitating underlines the final sentence. Two shots later, however, when it shows the full message, the line has changed to an X. A few minutes afterward, in a shot of the Trunchbull spinning on the globe, it's a line again, but with a different angle than the previous one.
