(at around 10 mins) When MJ is in front of the spider cage, just prior to Peter being bitten, a spider on a thread can be seen just over Peter's right shoulder in the medium shots, and directly underneath the spot where he will be bitten. It disappears in the final cut before closeup coverage begins. Notice also that the focus changes on the background, indicating the use of different lenses or different spikes for the shots used.
