During one scene, a character describes shifting satellites in to 'Geo-synchronous Orbit behind the Earth' with an accompanying graphic on a computer screen - in simple terms, Geo-Synchronous means that the satellite rotates around the earth at a speed that keeps it locked over one location on the Earth's surface, the opposite to what they say they're doing.
