In Hawaii Five-0: Hoa Pili, when Kamekona gets his helicopter pilot's license and takes the Five-0 team for a flight, they make references to Magnum P.I., including singing the show's theme song and calling Kamekona "T.C.", therefore establishing that "Magnum P.I." is fictional in the "Hawaii Five-0" universe. However, after Magnum P.I. launches as a reboot in 2018, several characters from that series, to include Thomas Magnum himself, make crossover appearances into "Hawaii Five-0" and vice-versa."Hawaii Five-0"
