In the final scene of Rob lying drunk on the beach in Vancouver, he is issued a ticket by a police officer wearing an RCMP uniform. The City of Vancouver has its own police force, their officers who wear a different uniform. In addition, the officer is wearing a dress uniform, which would only be worn for ceremonial purposes, and not for day to day patrol duties.
