When Sally confronts Leatherface in his bedroom, he gets up and leaves her alone, contrary to everybody else he laid eyes on who he killed immediately, regardless if they were responsible for the death of his mother or not. Unless this is supposed to lean towards the idea that Leatherface did recognize her or was just so confused as to why this woman is not attacking him right away that he just walks away in confusion.
